I am running SuSE 8.1 and have recently installed XSane 0.90 for my HP Scanjet 5300C scanner. I cannot get it to work properly as I get multiple images in the viewer window - eight small images of the object across the window. Any ideas, anyone?
I have also installed QuiteInsane 0.10 and it works OK but is p-a-i-n-f-u-l-l-y s--l--o--w. Best Fred
