hi there i found perhaps something similar what i need. there is a scsi adapter which you can connect to an usb port.
adaptec's usb2xchange almost 80$ i don't know if it works under linux. a google search got nothing usable. and yes i want something like an out of the box solution, on the hardware side. On the software side i'm more flexible. regards andre
