Patches for README.darwin are appreciated, too :-) Otherwise I guess I'll just wait until that's fixed in some future version of libtool and use that one. I have applied you dll.c changes to CVS with only formatting changes. I hope I didn't break anything. Concerning configure.in/backend/Makefile.in: Can you check if the approach using LDFLAGS I use in CVS now also works on your system? This would avoid the special DARWIN flag in the Makefile. If it doesn't work (because of options order?), I'll use your patch. I haven't applied the sm3600 patch because I want to fix sm3600 instead :-) Can you try to find out, what's wrong with it or where it segfaults exactly? Maybe it's a libusb issue. We had similar reports with older versions of libusb on Linux/x86. Bye, Henning
