=2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all,
With a lot of test effort from J=F6rg Skottke I've finally managed to=20 add support for the Epson 1670 in the SnapScan backend. You need the=20 latest SANE sources from CVS to try it ( see=20 http://www.sane-project.org/snapshots/ ). After installation you need to modify your snapscan.conf (usually=20 found in /usr/local/etc) and add the filename of your firmware file,=20 with full path. The firmware file for the Epson 1670 is named=20 esfw30.bin and is included in the Windows driver.=20 =46or further details and installation instructions see=20 http://snapscan.sourceforge.net I'm interested in further feedback on this scanner. If you test it,=20 please mail me your findings. All other users of the SnapScan backend are requested to test the=20 latest backend version as well, just to make sure I didn't break=20 anything by accident. =2D -Oliver =2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/rMFA/V6sbrmfIuMRAoLFAJ0fUt5jLrqoIiDc1xCBQa00AQpXoQCfV/Kp C0tNxq15JtTL2xL0zdenlJI=3D =3DCFSO =2D----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
