hello,
i'm quite new to sane and tried to get my old "epson gt-300" parport
scanner running under linux (suse linux 9; scanimage --version: 1.0.12). so
i just read a bit about how to configure and enabled the parport device
0x378 in "/etc/sane.d/epson.conf" (pio 0x378). when i now run "$ scanimage -
d epson --format pnm > myscan" (as root, need to change file permissions, i
know) my scanner drags the sheet in and pulls it out on the other side (but
much too fast for a scan) and i get the message
[epson] Unknown type & or level @, using B3
scanimage: sane_start: Invalid argument
it would be really great if someone could help me (as the gt-300 was in the
"probably supported list")
