Hi, Negative scanning works fine, only in 2400dpi resolution I see the interlacing effects (see the picture I attached to my first mail, it was scanned with in transparency Mode). I tested the starting of xsane again and at first it worked without problems, but after powercycling the scanner xsane started not before the fourth attempt. I attach the logfiles, recorded with 'export SANE_DEBUG_SNAPSCAN=128'. By the way, is there a way to control the lamp of the scanner? I'd like to switch off the lamp when I'm not using the scanner to increase it's lifetime. I noticed that one time the lamp was off but I can't remember the circumstances.
