I've already found that libieee1284 doesn't work on the FreeBSD 5.x series and consequently my parallel port scanner will not work. (it works as a nice paperweight though)
Before going out and buying a new scanner, I was curious if anyone has had any luck getting USB scanners to work under FreeBSD 5.3. Thanks, Micah
