Hi, the Avision AV630CS SCSI scanner of a friend of mine doesn't scan in color mode using sane.
forcing scanimage --mode color does not help, it just aborts; and SANE_DEBUG_AVISION=7 always shows that only line-art, grey, and black/white are supported - color mode is not listed, but the scanner is definitely a color model. anybody got an idea? i can send complete logs if neccessary. greets, andre'
