I've just bought an M3093DG from ebay and have been poking at it with sane. Happy to report that detection and ADF scanning work just fine. The only thing that doesn't is duplex scanning.
Specifying --duplex back results in an endless supply of 37 byte files purportedly containing scans but being generated at many per second. --duplex both or front yields: orthos:~/scan# scanadf --source adf --duplex front scanadf: rounded value of br-x from 215.9 to 215.893 scanadf: rounded value of br-y from 297 to 296.994 scanadf: sane_start: Invalid argument Invalid argument Scanned 0 pages orthos:~/scan# The sane-fujitsu man page claims this model is generally supported but it isn't clear if the duplex unit is expected to work. Can somebody confirm whether or not it should? I'm running on a Linux 2.6.11-rc4 kernel if it makes a difference. m. PS: Not subscribed, please cc, etc.
