yes, took 5 months and 3 requests (first lost by processing, second in post(??)) but i finally got it a few weeks ago :-)) I'm working on it, i spent some time understanding usb protocol stuff and sane code, and now understand how things work, but couldn't find the error yet. Seems to be a missing/wrong parameter which the scanner does not like and complains about. Cheers, Ariel
