Hi, I think I fixed the problem. The SCSI read was returning EOF, and the driver wasn't incrementing its buffers properly in that case. I changed it so it doesn't do anything special on EOF, and always increments by i_data_read, and it seems to work now. Here's a patch against the latest source:
Maybe the USB interface caused an EOF that wasn't getting sent with plain SCSI?
