Hi, I also had to add the product id, device id to epson.conf: usb 0x04b8 0x0820
scanimage -L outputs the following: device `epson:libusb:002:008' is a Epson Unknown model flatbed scanner One problem I'm running into right now (although not last night...) is that it appears as if the "usblp" module is claiming the device and won't let sane access it. This shows up in the logs: usb 2-1.2: usbfs: interface 1 claimed by usblp while 'scanimage' sets config #1 If I rmmod usblp, then scanimage -L works again, but the permissions on the usb devices are incorrect, so only root can access the device.
