Ok, well finally I placed the 7450 from the dusty corner onto my desk. The only problem I could encounter (using my SVN:HEAD code of course) was, that the calibration was optimized away entirely. And thus consecutive flatbed scans made this scanner hang. I commited this optimization out for now (I need to rethink for what model I added this). Please mail me a log with SANE_DEBUG_AVISION=8 if there is still a problem (yes 8 instead of the usually requested 7, since 8 logg more USB low level i/o ...). The basic resolutions (75, 140, 300, 600, 1200 and probably some more in between) do work. other odd might require software scaling that I might add later on - we'll see. However I'll also merge the color matrix options and other minor changes soon as well.
