'sane-find-scanner' shows nothing but the output of 'lsusb' Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0924:4220 Xerox Bus 001 Device 002: ID 045e:0084 Microsoft Corp. Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 xsane gives the same error I have quoted earlier. Thanks for your explanations! The next problem, now that I got it working, is that I can only seem to be able to scan at (max) 2400dpi, even though the scanner supports up to 4800.
