hi all,

In order to ease development of frontend, i produce a patch that
generate a pkg-config file for sane. Attached the patch to
configure.in and the sane.pc.in file to add at the root of the source
tree.

I don't know how to patch root Makefile.in in order to install sane.pc
in $(libdir)/pkgconfig .

Please review it and make sane.pc installed in $(libdir)/pkgconfig.

Thanks
?tienne.

Subject: [sane-devel] LIde 20 scanner & kernels newer than 2.6.20-9
Message-ID: <[email protected]>

I, along with several Ubuntu users (Feisty Fawn testing) have had a
problem with sane & the USB_SUSPEND kernel option. Please take a look at
one of the reported bugs at:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-backends/+bug/85488

I would really like a working scanner & this seems to be a problem
between suspend for laptops & USB issues with desktop units.

Thank You for your thoughts in this matter.
