Julien being the debian libsane maintainer, I have checked if the CVS avision.[c|h] were the same in the debian unstable source package and it seems to be a few differences. http://packages.debian.org/sid/libsane Seeing the Ubuntu Intrepid package changelog page (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-backends), it seems that the code should first go through your approuvment process Julien. For these reasons, my question is : do you think that (Debian SID and Ubuntu Intrepid) users will have a chance to have an AVISION FB6080E working with their GNU/Linux before the end of this year ?
