Hi, all. I'm also a Canon MP810 user. It has worked on FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE with the sane snapshot (2008-10-15) and libusb-0.1.12 (cannot work with the uscanner driver).
Scanning under 1200 dpi has no problem (great!). But scan images at 2400 and 4800 dpi are a bit strange. I posted some color scan images (from 75 to 4800 dpi) to the URL below (about 4MBytes). If more information is needed, please ask me. http://homepage2.nifty.com/dumb_show/unix/work/mp810_color_sane-2008-10-15_01.tar.bz2 At Wed, 03 Sep 2008 22:06:02 +0200, nicolas.martin at freesurf.fr (Nicolas) wrote: > Jean Nicolas, > > Dunno if you followed latest discussions for MP810, improvements have > been made for this PIXMA in Sane pixma backend, and most issues are > solved. > Would you mind getting the latest CVS and giving a try, we still have > some doubts with the 2400 dpi and 4800 dpi scan modes. > > Nicolas > > Le lundi 18 ao?t 2008 ? 13:24 +0000, Jean-Nicolas Gautier a ?crit : > > Hello, > > I bought a pixma MP810 one year ago.
