Thats funny if you think about it, cause 600x600 dpi lineart scaled to 200x200 is 9:1, only slightly more data than a 200x200 gray to lineart (8:1). So, they are almost the same operation, if the scanner's threshold is set properly. allan -- "The truth is an offense, but not a sin"
