Dear Allan, We made libusb-devel needed to build for all our backends. Why do sanei_usb should be used instead? The answer depends from how simple is to re-write it.

However, I now realize that this backend uses libusb directly. This is a problem which will prevent sane from building on some systems, so I have disabled the backend from building.
