Hi. I've an Epson SX510W ( 0x04b8/0x0856). Scanner is working fine in usb but i can't get it working while the device is connected on LAN.
When the scanner is connected in wifi, scanimage -L find it. I have I/O error with scanimage or xsane. Output of SANE_DEBUG_EPSON2=128 scanimage > image.raw is very long and i don't really know how to interpret the whole output but i found that : ... [epson2] header mismatch: FF ff [epson2] e2_recv: expected = 1, got = 0 [epson2] e2_txrx: rx err, Error during device I/O [epson2] e2_cmd_simple: failed, Error during device I/O scanimage: sane_read: Error during device I/O ... It seems that my scanner isn't responding the good value. As i'm not a C guru, I don't know if there a (simple?) way to get it working but i would just signal it. PS: running on Archlinux, sane 1.0.20-3 Best regards, -- Jean-Christophe Saad-Dupuy 06.18.51.59.48 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
