Hiyas. This is perplexing. sane-find-scanner sees my scanner ok:
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8, product=0x0131) at libusb:001:002
scanimage -L? does not.
I got the latest epkowa/iscan src from avasys and it installed no prob. Editted
/etc/sane.d/dll.conf to include epkowa,? editted epkowa.conf to specify
vendor/device ID and so on.
Strace on scanimage -L shows up an error which doesn't make sense to me:
open("/dev/bus/usb/002/013", O_RDWR)??? = 3
ioctl(3, USBDEVFS_IOCTL, 0xbfece8a0)??? = -1 ENOTTY (Inappropriate ioctl for
device)
Tried switching usb ports but same basic result.
Any clues appreciated.
