I'm trying to create scans that I can consider "neutral". I'd like to make adjustments to the scanned images after that, but keeping the neutral copy as a reference. I'm not adjusting any settings in xsane besides increasing the resolution to 600x600, so I'm not using color management and my gamma correction is set to 1.8. Can this be considered as neutral as possible?
