Hello! I have a Canon PIXMA MX350 Multifunction device and found out that the scanner in this model is not yet supported by the sane-pixma driver. Is there anybody out there who could help me getting it to work with my scanner?
I am running gentoo linux and I use sane-backends-1.0.21. Could anyone please tell me what patches I need to make to the code to at least try if the scanner just works with the existing driver? At the moment the scanner is not recognized although the printer is detected in the network: [pixma] eth0 is IPv4 capable, sending broadcast.. I also have access to a macbook if one can do usb traces using a mac. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Guenther.
