I have heard and now have seen first hand, how difficult it is to configure a LAN-based scanner.
I recently purchased a Dell 2155cn network connected printer/scanner. The network printing works perfectly through CUPS. However, I have not found any adequate documentation on connecting to the scanner through an IP address. Has anyone successfully configured a Dell networked scanner on K/Ubuntu? Will HPLIP work?
