Thanks for this 1rst explanation. But about gamma ? My problem is that the scan of dark photos leads to pictures where the loud keys are saturated (?bouch?s? in french); I can't retrieve the details by post-processing, so it's essential to collect lighter values during the acquisition. -- Gauthier
