[sane-devel] obtaining sane-recognised driver for Samsung mfp-3400

I own a Samsung mfp-3400, and was not able to get it recognised as a 
scanner
on my opensuse 12.1 linux system. However, it did work out after 
compiling
and installing the Samsung UnifiedLinuxDriver_1.01.tar.gz package. 
After
running 
~/local/UnifiedLinuxDriver/cdroot/Linux/i386/qt4/install/guiinstall
I got my printer sane-scanning.  And it does a great job!!
