SANE currently does not support the DR-M140. The protocol spoken by this scanner is unknown, and there are is no documentation available from Canon to explain the protocol.
However, if you can get a log of the windows driver making a small, low resolution scan using this tool: http://www.pcausa.com/Utilities/UsbSnoop/I might be able to reverse engineer it. Unfortunately, this is a slow, labor-intensive process. allan On Tue, Sep 10, 2013 at 1:20 PM, Valeria Genesis Vargas Ruiz < vvargas at microformas.com.mx> wrote: > Hello, > > > I need to help with the scanner can operate in an operating system ubuntu > 8.04 and 10.04. > > Regards > > -- > > > > -- > sane-devel mailing list: sane-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org > http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/sane-devel > Unsubscribe: Send mail with subject "unsubscribe your_password" > to sane-devel-request at lists.alioth.debian.org > -- "The truth is an offense, but not a sin" -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
