I' am assisting a user to get his photosmart b210 MFP working under kubuntu
12.04. printing works perfectly, but scanning does not work.(xane0.998/1.0.22)
the printer is detected fine, but when running xsane, it shows a couple of
error dialogs (invalid argument: mode and invalid argument: option) and it
shows the scan preview window, then it shows those errors again, the preview
window goes away, and the options window is missing a lot of the settings, and
the scan area shows as 0*0*24
