Hello,
if all calibration scans are black, there could be a division by
zero. Could you provide log and debug files (several *.pnm files)
created when backend is ran with debug traces by exporting these
environment variables:
export SANE_DEBUG_GENESYS=255
export SANE_DEBUG_GENESYS_LOW=255
export SANE_DEBUG_GENESYS_GL124=255
