Is there any support for the scanning functions on the Epson XP-530 with either the epson or epkowa drivers (connected by USB for preference)?

If you were expecting something different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages). And neither xsane nor iscan finds a scanner. The output of lsusb -v does include a scanner interface in the list of interfaces. Thanks for any suggestions James
