Parry Williams Doctoral Studentship Music Bangor University - School of Music
The School of Music at Bangor University is seeking applications for the Parry Williams Doctoral Studentship in Music. The School is inviting applications from candidates with outstanding research potential in any area of music, including composition, electroacoustic music and sonic art. The award will consist of a bursary of £5,000 per annum for a period of three years. To be eligible prospective students must fulfill the conditions for doctoral study and have been offered a place as a PhD student at Bangor University. The successful candidate will be expected to take up his/her studies at Bangor in the autumn of 2011 or as soon as possible thereafter. The closing date for applications is Friday, 8 July 2011.
