Hello my dear friends
This time neither I am talking about any environment activity nor trying to prove a point. I am talking straight and business. This decision has come after a deep thought into this matter that I will be stepping down as SWS Green Team head w.e.f. 12th November 2008, i.e. first anniversary of SWS Green Team. Thereafter I will only be a volunteer for SWS Green Team and other wings as well in our Sanskaari Welfare Society (SWS). I have seen many events coming and going attending them alone or with Anubhav, which is highly dis-heartening. I thought when I joined SWS, there was scope of environment activities and members will take active part in all of these activities, which they did initially. But over the period of time the participating member list went on a decline. It increased but again reduced to mere 2-3. Therefore now I think it's the time I should make way for someone more capable of this respectable post and work just as a volunteer and not as a wing head. With this I can just say that it's a decision that was long due but could not gather this much courage to step down from the post of a wing head in our esteemed organisation or might be I was acting selfish not to lose this position. But, now a decision is a decision and that too an important one. "Green Diwali Campaign 2008" will be my last major campaign as SWS Green Team head. But after that I will be volunteering for SWS Green Team not as a head but as a member volunteer which I think is equally respectable in SWS and this is highly appreciable. I know my sudden decision might shock many but I don't regret it as I repeatedly say this was long due. In the end I would like to thank everyone in Sanskaari Welfare Society for showing faith in me as SWS Green Team head for a year (12th Nov 07 to 12thNov 08) and expect the same as SWS Green Team volunteer. Also would like to thank all the participating members from SWS in all the SWS Green Team activities. I have no personal grudges against anyone, this is my own decision and of course I have not been forced to do so. I am always available for any environment event and other events as well. In fact, I would like to be such a volunteer for SWS Green Team who is responsible for finding new environment events and convey the message to all the members, only if governing body of SWS decides to give me this responsibility.
