I think the vibhAShA is attached to the "iT" of the previous sUtra. When
"sArvadhAtukam" knocks out "iT" all of the words referring to it are similarly
knocked out.

In a sUtra there are various sentence positions - in this series of atidesha
sUtras, there is the (1) the situation (2) the element that will have a new
property (3) the new property endowed
Every new sUtra may introduce one or more of these elements. All other elements
are carried forward.

(Please pardon the following meesy attempt to type a "table". "\\" signifies a
new row while "||" signifies a new cell.

(1) Situation || (2) entity to have new property ||
(3) new property endowed         || \\
gAN^kuTAdhibhyo              ||  aJN-Nin                                   ||
N^it                                           || 1.2.1\\
vija (knocks out above) || iT (knocks out above) || ,,
(carried forward)                     || 1.2.2\\
urNOH (knocks out  above)  || ,,+vibhAShA                            || ,,
(carried forward)                     || 1.2.3\\
sArvadhAtukam || apit (knocks out above) || ,,
(carried forward)                     || 1.2.4\\
asaMyogAt                            || lit
        || kit (knocks out above!)              || 1.2.5\\
IndhibhatibhyAM                   ||,, (carried forward) + cha           ||,,
(carried forward)                     || 1.2.6\\

Let us now look at an example where vibhAShA happens to be carried forward for
a long time, because it is not knocked off for many sUtras, then it is finally
knocked off by a change in the topic. I will not type "knocked off" and
"carried forward".

There are sajJNA sUtras, with the following positions:
(1) the situation (2) the object given the sajJNA=name (3) the name=sajJNA
(1) Situation || (2) entity to be named
|| (3) name                                    || \\
(always)                                ||  sarvAdIni
                || sarvanAmAni                             ||
1.1.27\\
...
jasi (dvandve )                       ||  ,,
                            || ,,            vibhASha                       ||
1.1.33\\
,,              (but not dvandve) || prathamacharama...                  || ,,
                ,,                            ||
1.1.34\\
...
,, +bahiyogopasaMvyAnayoH|| antaram                                   || ,,
            ,,
                           ||
1.1.36\\
(always)                                ||  svarAdinipAtam
                || avyayam                                     ||
1.1.37\\

The "cha" of "dvandve cha" determines the interesting anuvR^itti pattern seen
1.1.32 to 1.1.34

Hope this is helpful regarding how anuvR^itti is mostly unambiguous.

It appears in Viveka-chUDAmaNi (VC)

brahma satyaM jaganmithy-evaMrUpo vinishchayaH |
so&yaM nityAnitya-vastu-vivekaH samudAhRutaH ||

Can be found fairly early in VC (i.e., within the first twenty or so
shlokas).
