Thats one great tool, its the Transliteration tool from Google.
(its available in gMail also, and most of the google apps)
But we have to make Sanskrit option available in 'google translate' tool

the link) that it does not require any fonts and is very simple/intitutive to
use. I believe that it uses unicode so it should work on Windows XP/ Vista and
Windows 7 OS.

Yes it works. writeup?can be ?tranfered to mail. skype or microsoft word pad by
copy paste or by using short cuts.If trnsfered to microsoft word? can even

What does this exactly mean? If say, let me take the example of ?????
as the first man of that family tree. Then, his son may be called as

is called as ???????? (i.e, by ??????????? ??? ). But then comes this
sutra ?????? ?? ?????? ????. Now, the doubt is if I want to mention
say, the 50th person from the first man i.e, ?????, shall I have to
consider him as ???????????? or ?????????? if his father is still
alive? or in other words will he be called ???????? or ???????????? In
other words, to decide whether a person be called a Yuva or Gotra who
are the persons should be still living? Is it the 1stor 2nd or 3rd
person of that family tree or any of the predecessor of that person
(i.e, in my example say 49th person). If it is the second, then the
scope for Gotra Samjna is lesser than Yuva Samjna.

in sanskrit.
did anyone has success ordering from Gita Press to here in US, or from
elsewhere to US.

check mlbd.com. They can get indological books published anywhere in the world
