This is my direct client opening for Brio Developer - Durham, NC. This is a 6+ contract position. The Hourly rate is $48/hr. Position Description -Experience in analysis, design, development, testing and deploying simple to complex Brio Reports (Hyperion Reports). -Support daily Brio issues related to Reporting environment. -Well versed with Software Development Life Cycle. -A strong background in application solutions and a solid understanding of IT reporting technologies (such as Hyperion, OBIEE) is required. Requirements: * Extensive knowledge of Hyperion/Brio Intelligence Designer for designing, developing queries and reports (both On Demand and custom) * Extensive experience in Brio 6.x. * Must know and have experience in UNIX. This is must in order to understand the environment. * Must know and have experience in Oracle 9i, DB2 on Mainframe. * Must have some experience in Java, JSP * Knowledge of Software development life cycle is must. * Work in the team of developers in building new reports, maintain existing reports and troubleshoot. * Provide a day-to-day support for brio production environment for the existing and new developments. This involves supporting and troubleshooting the Brio on Demand Server. It may include monitoring the scheduled jobs on daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. * Excellent analytical and documentation skills * Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills to influence and effectively work with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and in a team environment and interface with developers, project managers, business groups and production support groups. * Migration of Brio from one version to another will be a plus Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferred * Minimum 4+ years of experience in Brio/Hyperion/DB2/SQL+ * Knowledge of Financial services is a plus * Knowledge of OBIEE is a plus Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.
