Jr QA Analyst Columbus, OH 6 Months Rate: 35/hr C2C Requirement Description Short Description: Release 4.2 test execution, defect submissions and defect validations. May also be asked to do some test scripting. Complete Description: Experience with Rational Tools (Clearquest, Test Manager) is preferred or would need to be able to learn Rational tools very quickly. Under moderate guidance, this position carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Assists in the testing of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects on projects with limited scope and/or business risk. Documents and work to resolve basic problems. Must have the ability to analyze basic systems, project documentation and/or customer needs in order to translate them into required test documentation. Must possess decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation. Must have the ability to plan and execute quality assurance tests with moderate guidance on projects with limited scope and risk. Must possess oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all levels of the company. Behavior Characteristics: One year of experience in information systems. Quality assurance and testing experience is preferred.
