The candidate must be located in MA, NH, RI or CT.
They biggest part of this position is "BA/PM skills in conjunction with having
supported Marketing databases or applications."
Client is seeking an individual with both Business Analyst and Project
Management skills. The individual will work out of our facilities in Hopkinton
& Westborough, MA on enhancements across the Global Marketing Database
applications. Experience with Marketing IT applications (specifically database
marketing, Unica Campaign, database enhancements, and/or email marketing) would
be beneficial.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Works with a team of professionals that bring together the full range of
technical and business competencies needed to assist Senior Management with the
successful achievement of their priorities, consistent with client goals and
objectives. Responsible for the overall day to day management of projects and
project deliverables.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Prioritize and staff technical team assignments and ensure cross functional
representation on all projects.
. Responsible for establishing communication plans and delivering project
status by publishing high quality project reports and presentations. Directs
project team members assigned to the project and associated work tasks in a
matrix environment.
. Documents value statement and completes business case analysis, translating
business requirements into process/functional design/system solutions. Develops
and maintains project and resource plans. Maintains project quality & focus.
Works with Functional Managers and Senior Management to determine required
project application budget. Monitors, controls & reports on project expenditure
against approved budget. Successfully manages end to end solution delivery
process with minimal supervision.
. Develops and executes to a training plan in conjunction with business
partners. Provides input or could be responsible for producing process and
training documentation. Is active in issue identification, escalation and
resolution and provides on-going system support.
. Establishes and maintains a close-working relationship with business
partners. Successfully works with IT peers to develop, test and deliver
business solutions.
. Leads business requirement and functional design sessions and produces
business process, requirements and functional design documentation. Prepares
test plans and scripts to perform system and user acceptance testing.
Coordinates and drives end-user testing. Executes test cases and scenarios for
the system, documents issues, collaborates with other team members and follows
through to problem resolution. Reviews and approves technical designs.
. Makes small/medium process and system improvement recommendations that
assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best
practices and professional experience. Evaluates business process implications
of business requirements and assesses possible design recommendations.
