*Client:* New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJOHSP) * **Engagement Type:** *Contract for 4 - 5 months *Job Location:* Mercer County, NJ *Pay rate:** *C2C - $25/hr *Experience:* 3 Years *Complete Description:* 1. Responsible for implementing & supporting a set of standard software engineering processes used by agencies. 2. Participates in the entire life-cycle of software process. 3. Direct and participate in teams working on analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation of new processes. Focus on business requirement/operational aspects of project. 4. Work within team environment with strong communication skills, providing support to team. 5. Provide support in planning and scheduling activities, timelines, milestone development. 6. Provide support in tracking and monitoring success of process improvements. 7. Communicate accurate and useful status updates. 8. Produce technical documentation, project timelines, design specifications. 9. Communicate to team, and to partner agencies, at times making explanatory presentations to many audiences. *Specific Tasks:* 1. Experience in writing technical documentation, such as detailed design specifications. This design work will involve web services, data indexing and searching, and a browser-based user interface. 2. Experience in writing business documentation such as Project Plans, timelines. 3. Create and provide timelines and project milestones. 4. Experience in formulating Business Cases scenarios into business requirements and expressing such to programmatic team. 5. Experience working within multiple vendor setting. 6. Experience in liaising w/vendors, business clients. 7. Excellent verbal communication skills. 8. Experience in conveying project message to various audiences through use of presentation and briefing skills. 9. Understand concepts for and work with team to develop, review data standards, XML data standards. 10. Understand concepts for and work with team to develop, review data exchange or data sharing models. 11. Familiarity with Web Service design, coding, testing. 12.
