Oracle Developer with OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) Engagement Type: Contract from 2/23/09 - 6/30/09 Job Location: Quakerbridge Plaza, Mercerville, NJ Experience: 5 plus Years Complete Description: 1. Manage data conversion processes, integration efforts and functional requirement enhancements of new and existing independent systems into comprehensive enterprise architecture. 2. Complete the migration of Oracle Developer applications to Oracle Application Server. 3. Manage, track, delegate, mentor, and participate in the migration of the Premium Support application system from Oracle Developer 6i to Oracle Developer 10g. 4. Manage, re-design, and develop a new, web-based Medicaid Inquiry system based on the current system written using Oracle Developer 6i. The new system will utilize Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. 5. Develop project plans and schedules, and assign tasks. 6. Manage and monitor the actual activity against the plan to insure that the project is completed on schedule and according to the project requirements. 7. Determine business requirements and design and develop functional components. 8. Design and manage user acceptance testing for each of the modules within the project. 9. Be responsible for system and training documentation. 10. Coordinate, approve, and implement enhancements to business and logical data models to make the appropriate changes to the physical data model. 11. Be responsible for robust operation of Division Oracle databases. 12. Be responsible for optimizing database queries, scripts, and procedures. 13. Work with network administrators and security personnel to ensure that applications and data are secured according to the Department's database, application and network security standards. 14. Review system components for adherence to the industry best practices and Division development standards. 15. Recommend and participate in the development of further best practices and standards in regards to database structures, database procedures, database element encryption, and database access auditing.
