I will get back to you if the candidate is a perfect match. 1) *Length of Position: Dec 31, 2009 minimum* *Start Date: ASAP* Location: Indianapolis Execute and support the deployment of GMARS application environments within Lilly Required Functions and Skill Sets: *The primary responsibilities are as follows:* *Operations* - Assists with establishing new environments (e.g. QA environment; sandbox) - Assists with refreshing existing environments (e.g. production copy back to test) - Applies changes to the configuration and/or code (e.g. apply hot fixes, changes to master configuration data, etc.) - Managing access to non-production environments - Establishing or changing/resetting data sets (e.g. test data, sandbox data, etc.) - Resolve hardware / software problems that arise during deployment or support, coordinating with other infrastructure areas as needed (e.g. DBA, server teams, etc.) - Follow established departmental SOPs to maintain appropriate validated state, including Problem Management, Change Management tools (Remedy) *Development* - Assists with test development, test execution, SOPs/documentation (SME for content) - Assists with training development for IT support roles (SME for content) - Resolve hardware / software problems that arise during testing, coordinating with other infrastructure areas as needed (e.g. DBA, server teams, etc.) - Follows established project SOPs related to Software Engineering & Maintenance, including Development and Testing tools (Quality Center, Requisite Pro, Regulus) Areas of focus: core MXES applications including mobile, interfaces, reports. Mobile device management would not be a core area of focus given other roles, but background/experience would enable this person to be a backup *Desired Skill Set:* - MXES 6.x - SQL code development for Oracle databases - Windows 2003 Server - Windows XP *Education and Experience * • B.S in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • 1 – 2 years experience in management and deployment of MXES applications for a large corporation. • Work experience in a regulated industry preferably in a GMP environment in a large pharmaceutical company.
