Looking 8+years of IT experienced, the technical skill must have's are:
a.. Database development using Microsoft SQL Server 2000
b.. Preferably with Windows 2003
c.. Report development using SQL Server Report Services and Crystal Reports
(Version 8.5)
d.. Application Platform: Clarify Clear Support (Version 11.5)
e.. Programming Language: Clarify Clear Basic (Version 11.5)
f.. A certification would be nice.
g.. Outstanding communication skills.
We should try finding someone with experience in:
Programming support that includes:
Report change requests
Closely working with users to identify system design, configure/customize the
system to support change requests
Unit testing of the change requests.
De-bug and resolve system issues found during testing or in production.
Support the coordination of production releases
Maintain the documentation of the technical specifications.
Fine-tune the reports, as needed, for enhanced performance.
Participated in the Change Control process.
