The consultant will be responsible for the following: • Generating pre-developed automated scripts using QTP, library of reusable components and error handling tools from external vendor that will provide comprehensive automated testing coverage of I&FS applications. • Setup the QTP tool. • Record and playback of test automation scripts. • Automation of Visual Basic and web applications. • Editing and Debugging of QuickTest scripts • Usage of checkpoint and object verification. • Generalization of scripts using data tables including methods to handle mapping of extracted code table entries to the descriptions that actually appear on the screen. • Integration of automated scripts with Quality Test Center to ensure a consistent approach to the planning, specification testing and reporting of test activities. • Documentation related to scripts generated. • Training and transition of the work to employee(s). Technical Requirements are: 1. Overall testing experience of 8-10 years using QTP. 2. Experience in generating scripts: especially data driven scripts using QuickTest Professional 8.2. - 6 years or longer 3. Experience in Programming language VB Script. - 5 years or longer. 4. Years of experience in SQL. - 5 years or longer.
