Develops and tests product code according to client's quality standards . Maintains knowledge of product environments and applicable software technologies . Provides complete documentation in the form of commented code, problem status information, and design documents . Performs thorough problem analysis that results in resolution of product-related problems according to BMC support standards . Carries out thorough unit testing; supports systems and integration testing as required to provide a quality product . Assists in marketing of BMC products as required by PM&D management . Provides input to the Technical Writers for all product documentation . Defines the functional specification of program modules ensuring functionality, quality and ease of maintainability . Accurately estimates the size and scope of the development effort as measured by the product delivery schedule SKILLS: . at least 5 years in a similar role . Bachelor's Degree . Minimum of 5 years experience programming in C/C++ . Experience programming against Windows API is required . Experience working with Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) technologies is required . Experience working with Active Directory and LDAP is required . Experience programming against the WMI and ADSI APIs is desirable .
