Project Manager Austin, TX 4 years Job description: VTR manages the motor vehicle title, registration, and license plate-related functions for the State of Texas. There are 403 FTEs in VTR headquarters and 16 regional offices across the state. TxDOT/VTR partners with the county tax assessor-collectors in the state's 254 counties to provide service to almost 21 million customers. The Vision 21 initiative is a total rethinking and revamping of the title, registration, and related processes of our state. These process and procedural changes will be supported by a new, web-based technology system. All of these changes are focused on providing world-class customer service and improving operating efficiency. The Worker will provide program/project assurance support to the TxDOT Vision 21 program. The Program Assurance Project Manager is responsible for performing reviews of Vision 21 processes, documentation, and records to certify compliance with in-house specifications/standards and industry best practices. The Program Assurance Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and performing activities that ensure program deliverable and software product quality. This position has quality assurance signature authority on the review of individual project deliverables.
