Thanks Job Title: Business Objects Architect Location: Parsippany, NJ Duration: 2-3 months Job Description BO Architect must have strong query skills and intimate knowledge of the Business Objects tool, including universe design, server suite of components, Webi, deski, and portal access. Consultant must configure server components, set up user access and controls, develop universes as well as shared design components (e.g., interfaces to LDAP server, reporting templates). This is not a “report developer” role, but rather is an architect role that lays all components in place to enable report development and distribution, as well as ad hoc access. *Prior exp conducting a strategic evaluation (Proof of concept-POC) of the use of Business Objects XI as the reporting tool (THIS MUST BE ON RESUME!!!) * Requirements: Must have previous experience: - Setup an informatica and business objects development environment, - *POC data set/rule definition: * - *POC Tool Alternative Evaluation Strategy and execution: * - *Architecture POC * - *Design Templating POC. * - *Workflow POC* - Extract and Collection Layer POC. - Operational POC including: - Round Trip Codes Management POC - Master Data Management CDI POC Minimum 3-5 yrs business intelligence related experience, with complex data warehouses, business intelligence tools, and systems Must have 1-2 prior project experience evaluating existing Data Delivery tools and techniques. (Business Objects a MUST) - Will need to set and enforce Data Delivery standards and architecture for the project.\ - Must be able to develop evaluation criteria and compare BO with the current SAP tools. - Must be able to create a final report that will assess each option and make recommendations. The individual will need to work with limited direction and be able to handle all aspects of the work - technical, user interaction, management, report preparation and presentation. Must have previous exp working with stakeholders and end users to gain insight and understanding of the use of the dashboard and drill down capabilities. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
