Role : Quality Assurance Engineer Location : Raleigh, NC Duration: 6+months *Primary Responsibilities:* - Champion Quality processes and methodologies to a team that has previously had little QA interaction. - Debug software products through the use of systematic tests (manual and automated) to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and test cases. - Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. - Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems. Requirements: - 5+ years experience in software verification, including Java web applications - Test automation experience, including the creation of automated tests from "scratch." Record/playback-only experience is not sufficient. Requires the ability to read/write Java code. - Must be able to work both independently and within a team.
