Hi, How are you doing today? This is for my direct client opening for *People Soft Techno Functional Consultant – Boston, MA*. This is a *3 months Contract* position. The Hourly rate is *DOE*. *Project Description: * * * The individual in this role will be expected to: *-*Create functional and technical specification documents for functions in the PeopleSoft Financials environment requiring customizations in v9.0, specifically for the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Purchasing modules -Interpret business requirements into concise functional specifications that explain the reason behind required customizations -Provide technical direction in the form of written specifications for the implementation of required customizations, trying to reduce the amount of customized objects and the complexity of implementation wherever possible -Perform PeopleSoft development and unit testing for specific functions where directed to do so This individual must have the following skills and background: -Multiple projects’ experience in writing clear and concise design specifications for customizations to PeopleSoft Financials modules, with the ability to interpret users’ business requirements into functional specifications -Experience writing technical specifications that can be handed off to a PeopleSoft Developer for implementation -Experience developing and unit testing PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and SQR The following skills are desired but not absolutely required for this role: -Experience performing the functions listed above in a comparably-sized higher-education environment. -Direct experience and expertise with integration tools (web services, component interfaces, integration broker) available in PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.48 and above -Specific Experience with PeopleSoft Pay Cycle processes, including EFT and Positive Pay formats, 1099 and other withholding processes and reporting, and Purchase Order Entry and Dispatch processes -Experience working with Microsoft Excel and VisualBasic, particularly modifying the code delivered with the PeopleSoft Journal Upload utility Deliverables -The PeopleSoft Analyst/Developer will be responsible for producing and issuing the following deliverables: -Design specifications (functional and technical) for a number of PeopleSoft Financials functions being customized – specifics to be determined. -Developed and unit tested code for a number of PeopleSoft Financials customizations – specifics to be determined * * *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume. * *Full Name:* *Degree Major:* *Total IT Experience:* *Total **People Soft Techno Functional Consultant exp:* *Total **exp in writing clear and concise design specifications for customizations to PeopleSoft Financials modules:* *Total exp in writing technical specifications that can be handed off to a PeopleSoft Developer for implementation:* *Total exp in developing and unit testing PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and SQR:* *Total exp with integration tools (web services, component interfaces, integration broker) available in PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.48:* *Total exp in performing the functions listed above in a comparably-sized higher-education environment:* *Total exp with PeopleSoft Pay Cycle processes, including EFT and Positive Pay formats:* *Total exp with 1099 and other withholding processes and reporting:* *Total exp with Purchase Order Entry and Dispatch processes:* *Total exp in working with Microsoft Excel and VisualBasic:* *Total exp in modifying the code delivered with the PeopleSoft Journal Upload utility:* *Hourly Rate:* *Day Phone #:* *Evening Phone #:* *Cell Phone #:* *Availability:* *Current City/State:* *Work Status (US Citizen / Green Card / Others):* *Have you applied recently for this requirement earlier through any one else?
