Complete Description: Good Project Manager skills. Working knowledge of Information Security practices and principles, ISO17799. Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security controls and FISMA. Ability to perform analysis using Excel, Access, etc. Information Security Analyst *Review operational and technical requirements, conducts data and business process analyses, identifies problem areas, and develops logical sequence of task execution, with a goal toward process improvement and reducing costs. *Audit and documentation *Familiar with risk management principles and conducts risk assessments: Analyze security-related issues and provides recommended resolution of major/critical problems. Will use the fundamentals and principles of professional security program management, risk analysis, IA processes, computer hardware, systems software, computer system architecture, and IA implementation. *Review system design documents, test plans, network diagrams, configuration management plans, incident response and disaster recovery documentation to assist clients in addressing IA-related issues. *Provide subject matter expertise as it relates to any of the following security principles and standards: ISO17799, PCI-DSS, FISMA, NIST 800-53, DoD information assurance (IA) and DIACAP. Required Skills : -Strong project leadership skills are highly desired -Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail -Self-starter.* Ability to perform quality assurance and create first-class client deliverables with minimal supervision -Skilled in PowerPoint, Word, Access, Excel, Visio, MS Project -Ability to create simple graphics/flowcharts and format documents -Ability to collaborate with business partners and peer level professionals from other IT specialties -Strong analytical/assessment capability (e.g., conducting gap analyses, risk assessments) -Strong knowledge of security program management -Ability to lead and/or actively participate in C&A working sessions and stakeholder meetings -7+ years of experience in either information assurance, information -7+ security, technical analysis, or a combination thereof -3+ years of risk management and/or assessment experience years -3+ experience with ISO17799, PCI-DSS, NIST 800-53 -Ability to pass a government security clearance -Bachelor's Degree -CISSP, CISM Behavior Characteristics: Execellent communication.
