*Position Description:* -This position is for a person who has a very analytical mind and can look at the big picture. -The client is a very large organization that manages a very large complicated end to end system. -The client has multiple applications and the person needs to know and understand how these applications are interrelated in order to manage the testing environment. -As an example the person should be familiar with Network, Applications, Telecommunication. -Security, Database, Internet-web, Wireless, Data Warehousing, Enterprise and Hardware. -This is for a tester and the can be either Automated or Manual. -The tool that the customer uses is* HP Quality Center* or the old Mercury tool. -The candidate should know how to write scripts and can use multiple scripting languages as there are many different applications that they will testing. -The database is Informix. For the most part the environment is Unix. But there are multiple platforms. -This could also include manual testing as the person should be able to move from one test environment to another as there are many different applications. -Because of this they will be testing multiple applications they need to understand how the fixes they make will interact with other applications that in turn effect the system. -The person needs to be open minded and creative and must be able to step up to the plate with a can do attitude. -Because the system is so complex the candidate must be able to articulate well and good communication skills are a must. -They must also demensrate a willingness to learn. Create and execute test plans to ensure application integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
