Business System Analyst with Health Care Experience Detroit, MI 6 Months Requirements: 1. Perform analysis of multiple areas within the NASCO Processing System (NPS) , or similar Insurance Claims Processing System. 2. Prepare test plans in support of the approved benefit changes. 3. Create claims test data to support required test scenarios 4. Execute claims testing, evaluate and document results. 5. Analyze failed tests, determine root cause for failure, and recommend resolution as applicable. 6. Provide detailed status reporting and attend and participate in project meetings. 7. Experience working with internal and External clients. Skills/Qualifications: * Minimum of 3-5 years of health care experience required with focus on benefit file and claims processing preferred. * Significant claims testing experience required with emphasis on validation of benefit file changes; experience testing on the NASCO platform preferred. * Previous experience preparing written requirements, test plans, and project deliverables required. * Working knowledge of Benefit File Manager (BFM) preferred. * Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills required. * High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. * Strong organizational and follow-through skills, and particularly strong attention to detail required. * Strong creative problem solving skills required. * Demonstrated flexibility, self-discipline and ability to work independently, as well as within a group. * Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external clients required. * Ability to handle multiple tasks and implementation timeframes required. * Ability to interact effectively with Client representatives at various levels required. * Ability to perform as a self-starter, with motivation to consistently produce high quality results required.
